Who doesn’t love movies? And who doesn’t have a movie in their head?

Started in 2002 this two week screenwriting intensive in the heart of the breathtakingly beautiful Umbrian hills is open to writers of all levels. Writing for film is a different way of writing. It is visual writing, you write what you see. Film is the language of our times. An art form that belongs to our lifetime not one handed down from the great masters of the past. Use the great masters of the renaissance as inspiration to a new medium.

Sharpen your thinking, your senses, how you see things, how you hear, and what you want to say. The key to our success is that our groups are always small, a minimum of five and a maximum of eight so that everyone gets individual attention. Spoleto is full of character, history and beauty, good food and marvelous local wines. Enjoy the stimulation and the company of like-minded people. A true Learning Vacation. We always try to put together a congenial group so that the workshop flows smoothly and your time is well spent. Since we can only take a handful of participants early registration is recommended.

The fee for the two weeks which includes full tuition, private accommodations with shower, daily lavish lunches side trips and transfer to Spoleto from Rome on arrival is only $3000. We can also help you with tips on buying your airline tickets. Remember the sooner you book for the summer the less you pay for tickets.
